About Tri-Med Americas
Tri-Med is an Australian based business founded in 1996 by Professor Barry Marshall to satisfy a need for the design, development and distribution of a safe, reliable diagnostic test to detect H.pylori.
Since these humble beginnings, Tri-Med has expanded its product base and international footprint. Tri-Med now markets a range of H. pylori diagnostic tests, assiciated accessories and therapeutics to over 30 destinations.
Tri-Med Americas aims to address the detection and treatment of H. pylori in both North and South America. The Americas region is a new sales destination for Tri-Med and we are excited to work with these countries in fulfilling our purpose whilst also seeking ways to improve our services and product innovation.

The PYtest urea breath test accessories enable on-site administration and analysis. The PYtest process can be completed in less than 20 minutes per test if conducted on-site.
The story of
Barry J. Marshall
Natural curiosity and the ability to challenge status quo thinking were attributes that led a young Doctor into the field of Gastroenterology, more specifically, a project in conjunction with Dr Robin Warren researching stomach bacteria.
In the spirit of Aussie entrepreneurship Professor Marshall famously ingested the H.pylori bacteria in an effort to prove that he had a cure. Who would have thought that single act of bravery could have resulted in a cure for stomach ulcers which has helped millions of people around the world.
